Hamworthy. Brand Positioning.

With more than a century of experience, Hamworthy is a world leader in the marine industry, ranked first in five of the nine product areas in which it operates. Applying this expertise, along with the highest levels of reliability, innovation and flexibility, it currently serves customers in the fluid handling, marine, and oil and gas markets on a global scale.

However, consisting of a disparate range of divisions and individual companies, it was traditionally difficult for Hamworthy to establish a unified corporate brand, both internally and externally. Which is where we came in.

Working closely with a dedicated task force, we identified gaps between brand perception and reality, looking for a solution that would truly reflect the Hamworthy brand position, now and in the future.

The result was a clear realignment of the brand which presented Hamworthy confidently to the world. ‘We’re always Hamworthy’ became the campaign ethos, building on the organisation’s many key benefits and allowing them to essentially speak for themselves, through the filter of Hamworthy people.

Delivered internally through a worldwide launch programme and sold in by the brand task force, an external communications plan is in now progress.
